Deco pages

So, I've done a few deco entries lately. Pages in other people's decos. And for those of you who don't know what a deco is - it's a booklet, usually with a certain theme, sent from person to person who each makes a page on the given theme.

I realize I haven't posted much snail mail stuff. Here's incoming mail from last month - a full Flower themed deco. Made for and by me, and beautifully decorated by the participants.

After having two (!!!) penpals for several years, after having a lot more than that in the past, I felt the urge to write to more people around the world.

Stamps

Got my postage stamps today. 😃 I buy them via a seller who sells them for half the price I would pay at the post office. Oh, and by the way, we don't have post offices in Sweden anymore, all kinds of mail are handled by supermarkets, convenience stores etc. Anyway, you don't need to ask, I will not tell who my cheap postage source is. 😉

Incoming postcards

 Long time, no see! I realized I haven't posted anything in over a month. Well, I haven't really done any cardmaking neither sent much snail mail during this month.

Yesterday I received six postcards via Postcard United. All six from the same person! I don't know how that is possible.

These two cards went in the mail yesterday. One says "Thank You", and the other "Hugs".

This week I received several postcards both via Postcrossing and Postcards United. I'm so glad I started getting active there again, I love getting fun snail mail. 😃

Incoming postcard

I recently set my Postcard United to active, after not having been active for a four year's break. Last week I received my first postcard, from Germany.

Postcrossing

I decided to join Postcrossing again after a several years break. In Postcrossing you get random people/addresses to send postcards to, as well as you receive postcards from other people.

'God, our Father, on the Rainbow Fountain' in Nacka, Stockholm. This card goes to Russia. I can't believe I have never seen this before, especially since it's by Carl Milles, my favorite sculpture.(I shouldn't get into politics here, but I just need to say that I usually boycott Russia. But you have to send cards to the address you get.)

Dalecarlian horse to China. This is one of Sweden's most famous things. The tradition of carving and painting these horses started back in the 18th century.

Cards for friends

I really suck at keeping in touch with people. But today I mailed cards to two friends who haven't heard from me for ages.

Mailing stuff

 A few envelopes with craft supplies I sold via Facebook groups, are redy to go in the mail. My goal is to get rid of everything (not only craft supplies) I don't need, and have a more clean and uncluttered home.
