I really suck at keeping in touch with people. But today I mailed cards to two friends who haven't heard from me for ages.
Today's card says "Have a lovely summer". I've made it for two different blog challenges.As for the Retro Rubber Challenges' tic-tac-toe, the sentiment is my design for the company I work for, heat embossed with black embossing powder. It's not for sale anymore, and I honestly don't know how many years ago I made it. At least it's a few year ago. Theme is summer, and I've added twine. 😊
It feels so good to be back into cardmaking again after not having done it much for quite some time.
The sentiment on this card says "Thinking of You". I've made it for three different challenges, see below the card. It's simply decorated with stripes of wahi tape, and a flower I colored in an coloring book for adults ages ago.
EFIT, Ett Foto I Timmen - A Photo An Hour, is about documenting your life on certain dates, post on your blog and share with other participants. It's one of the reasons I wanted to start blogging again (the other reason is to participate in cardmaking challenges).
This photo day was on June 18, but I managed to totally forget about it, so I've documented June 19 instead. 😊
Christmas in June? Sure. Several members of my Christmas card group on Facebook make Christmas cards all year. I should to, considering that I sell my cards and always panick to get them made in time by the end of November...
I made this card for Jingle Belles latest challenge, which is using three different patterned papers.
Honestly, I haven't made any cards for ages. Wanting some inspiration, I've started to follow card challenge blogs again after a long time. This card is for three different challenges (info below my card). For the Tic Tac Toe challenge, I went for ribbon, monochromatic and gems.
Yesterday, Mia and I had our last day of playing games before she goes to her family's summer house way up north. Besides our usual Ludo and Yahtzee (I just learnt that's how it's spelled in English!), we have now also added a couple of card games.
For dinner we shared a yummie pizza and had Kung beer. Kung is Swedish for King, hence the titel of this blog post. 😊
A few envelopes with craft supplies I sold via Facebook groups, are redy to go in the mail. My goal is to get rid of everything (not only craft supplies) I don't need, and have a more clean and uncluttered home.
Yesterday Sofia came shopping at my store (no, it's not mine, I just work there). It was so great to see her, I don't know how many years it is since last time we met.

Yesterday I spent the afternoon and evening with my friend Mia. Playing games and having a couple of glasses (beer for me and wine for her). And yes, we play Ludo with ten pieces instead of the four it's supposed to be. We find that a lot more fun. 😃
I'll start reading a new (to me, it was written in 2000) book tonight. Giles Blunt's 'Forty Words For Sorrow' (Swedish title "Fruset offer"). I have sooo many unread books, and don't read on a regular basis. I will definitely try to change that.
So, I realized I want to set up a blog, for two reasons.
1. I want to participate in EFIT, Ett Foto I Timmen. In English that would be A Photo An Hour. On certain dates, participants take a photo an hour to document their daily life. And to do that, I need a blog to make my posts.
2. And, I'd like to take part of cardmaking challenges as well.
So, here we go. I haven't used Blogger for about ten years, so be patient with me until I have it all figured out. 😊
